A little mystery beneath the surface. Bring the extraordinary beauty of the deep sea to your mahjong table with Cabinet of Tides, an original design from A Breach in Taste. Inspired by nineteenth-century marine natural-history illustrations, this richly detailed playing mat features copper-colored octopuses, luminous jellyfish, elegant nautilus shells, delicate coral formations, and swirling underwater foliage. The artwork unfolds around a deep petroleum-teal playing field, creating a striking contrast with traditional ivory mahjong tiles. Its balanced, four-sided composition makes the design beautiful from every seat at the table. Equal parts natural-history curiosity and decorative art, Cabinet of Tides brings something unexpected to your next game.
